Message of the Principal

There has been an unprecedented change in community socially, economically, and politically so that it is hardly growing knowledge as there is a wide scope with the drastic changes in the 21st century. Hence the today’s children should be committed to work physically and intellectually in order to achieve their objectives. I take this great opportunity to send my message on this great occasion of launching the official web site of Bandaranayake College on the 91st anniversary of the school.
First I would like to express my sincere gratitude and best wishes to all who contributed and rendered their assistance and co-operation to create this web site for the School.
I am glad to say that I have efficient and talented scholars in the tutorial staff in our College and would like to state that they are the live wire of the school that bring good results and fame. If I did not have such capable teachers I would not be able to proceed and cope up with the academic and extra-curricular activities in the school. My main aim and objective is to bring up my beloved children with the guidance and assistance of my cherished teachers and to make them good citizens in the future.
I could gain the mental satisfaction and derive pleasure since the students in my school give me the fullest co-operation in all activities. I praise all the children of the school as they are well disciplined, intelligent and talented. They are engaged in various sports and extra-curricular activities while excelling in academically. I am proud to say that they are fortunate and will become good citizens in the future.
My beloved children!!
You are the guides of prosperity of the alma mater.
Next I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the hon. Minister of Education Mr. Susil Premajayantha for providing for the all physical resources and other facilities to our school. I would also like to mention about the Past Pupils Association of Bandaranayake College which renders a yeoman service and it is highly appreciated and commendable.
“We must not scrape the trees unless they are affected with pests” similarly evils and wises should be eliminated from the society as they are injuries to the community and create healthy society one should shun jealousy, cruelty, pride, suspicion, and hatred in once mind it is a sole remedy for it.
